Orders & Repeat Orders
Turn operational visibility into your next order request.
Follow every SNL order from receipt to shipment, then send the next one without re-keying it: from an eligible finished good in your inventory, or several at once in a file.
Available Enabled for your account as your relationship requires.
What you can do
- Follow each order through six milestones, from Order Received to Shipped.
- See the order date, your requested ship date and the quantity shipped.
- Start a repeat-order request from an eligible finished good in Inventory On Hand.
- Send several repeat orders at once with Bulk Repeat Orders.
Why it matters
- Operations and supply chain see where each order stands without sending a status email.
- Planners compare progress with the ship date they asked for.
- Buyers send repeat orders once, with the product already identified.
How it works
- Request. Enter your Customer PO, quantity and, optionally, a requested ship date. You don’t enter prices.
- SNL review. The request arrives in SNL’s order queue as a draft. SNL completes pricing and terms and places the order.
- Follow. The request’s status and, once placed, the order’s milestones appear in your workspace.
Relationship context
- Turnkey
- Your core view: finished-product orders from receipt to shipment, and repeat orders for them.
- Tolling
- Follow orders manufactured from materials you supply.
- Hybrid
- One order list, whichever way each product is made.
Availability and expectations
- A request is not a confirmed order. It enters SNL review and becomes an order when SNL places it.
- Sending a request does not reserve inventory or schedule production.
- A finished good is eligible when it is one of your own active products.
- A duplicate Customer PO is refused.
